With the Innovations in technology as regards the business environment, a new banking or more specifically mobile money system is introduced which enables phone users to carry out transactions from their mobile money account to pay for goods and services, transfer money, buy and transfer airtime to their love ones etc using their mobile phone, the development for a cashless economy can not be understated.

Fortis mobile money is one of the banks powered by MTN that is keying
into this initiative  to unveil this new product to Nigeria.

Mobile Money will be made possible by the use of agents because without the agents, there can not be mobile money. You need an agent close to you to get the relevant mobile money services that you need, and Fortis will be building more than 50,000 agents across the country in the next 12 months.

Now Fortis have an unrestricted access on MTN network due under this development.

How it Works:

- Make transfers and receive payments any time anywhere and anyday.
- It is an initiative that uses the mobile phone as an access device like the ATM card, but the account is not domiciled or physical sitting on the phone. The phone enables the customer to do basic financial transactions.

You can also pay for DSTV services etc, Top up your mobile phone without necessarily buying a recharge card voucher.
