Coconut Water and Its Health Benefits

Coconut water is a clear liquid inside young coconuts (fruits of coconut palm). Coconut water is a popular drink in the tropics especially in India, Southeast Asia, Africa, Pacific Islands, Brazilian Coasts and the Caribbean, where it is available canned, bottled or fresh.

Coconut water contains; Carbohydrates, Fat, Dietry Fibre,
Natural Sugars, Vitamins A, B6, C, E and K, Protein, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Phosphorus, Potassium, Folate,Water and Zinc.
 
Coconut water prevents dehydration. Refuels and rehydrates – coconut water maintains the
body’s fluid levels and its potassium content helps
maintain water pressure within cells and blood.

Coconut waater fuels for brain and muscles. Due to its electrolyte content, coconut water
improves nervous system functioning and nerve
transmission. Prevents cramps and spasms in the muscles.
 Heart and kidney health: Reduces the risk of hypertension and strokes and
helps prevent or resolve kidney stones.
